Tea Plantation: Alishan, Taiwan
Elevation: 1300 meters
Harvest: June 2025
Tea Maker: Mr. Wei-Xiang Ye

Grown on our family tea farm in Alishan, Taiwan - the Champagne region of oolong tea - our leaves come from 1,300 meters above sea level, where we’ve been crafting oolong for over 30 years.

🍵 HOT BREW 🍵

Step 1: 3 grams of tea leaves: 150 ml of 90°C/194°F water

Step 2: Steep for 1-3 minutes and remove the tea leaves from the tea to avoid over-steeping.

Tip:
1.
Use soft water (15 ppm< <60ppm) for best results. We don't recommend using filtered water or distilled water as they tend to mute the tea.
2. Increase steep time if prefer stronger tea.
3. Don’t discard your leaves after the first brew. They can be re-steeped 3 or more times, each steep revealing new layers of flavor.

❄️COLD BREW❄️

Step1: In a pitcher, add 3 grams of tea leaves and 150 ml of lukewarm water.

Step 2: Put the pitcher in the fridge overnight or at least 6-8 hours.

📁 STORAGE 📁
Store the tea in an airtight container or a zip block bag, keep away from:
☀️ Sunlight
💧 Humidity
Coffee and spices

FAQ

Oolong tea is a traditional loose-leaf tea from China and Taiwan. It’s known for its complex flavor and smooth, balanced taste. For centuries, it has been part of daily life — a symbol of hospitality, mindfulness, and connection. The process of making oolong reflects patience, care, and respect for nature.

Yes. Oolong tea contains a moderate amount of caffeine — it provides steady, sustained energy without the jitters or crash often linked to coffee. The caffeine level can vary depending on the water temperature and the amount of tea used when brewing.

Use hot water around 90–95 °C (195–205 °F) and steep for 1–5 minutes. For the freshest taste, store your tea in a cool, dry place away from light, moisture, coffee, and spices — preferably in an airtight container.

High mountain oolong tea refers to tea grown above 1000 meters in elevation where cool air and mist create tender leaves with rich floral aroma, natural sweetness, and smooth flavor.

Oolong tea sits between green and black tea in oxidation — a tea-making step where the leaves are exposed to air and sunlight, allowing some of their moisture to evaporate and their flavor to develop.

Green tea is lightly oxidized, black tea is fully oxidized, and oolong is partially oxidized — creating a range of flavors that can lean closer to either green or black tea, depending on the level of oxidation.

Oolong tea is carefully crafted through several precise steps. Once the leaves are plucked, they must be processed within 48 hours to preserve freshness.

Each hand-harvested leaf is withered, gently bruised, partially oxidized, fixed, rolled, and dried. Skilled tea masters guide every stage to bring out the tea’s balanced aroma and smooth taste, ensuring quality and sustainability from farm to cup.
